A late 19th / early 20th Century gemstone-set high-carat yellow metal bug brooch, its head millegrain-set with two old-cut diamonds between round ruby cabochon eyes, its upper back bearing two further rose-cut diamonds and two oval pearls, its back collet-set with a large pendeloque almandine cabochon within a circuit of pearls of approx 2.5 mm diameter, largest diamond 2 mm, smallest diamond 1 mm, rubies 2 mm diameter, almandine 14 mm x 10 mm, 24 mm x 32 mm x 15 mm, 10.2 g
