Charles Bray (1922 - 2012). A glass plaque painted in depiction of a rocky coastal landscape leading to mountains in the background, signed 'C Bray', being a spun glass disk with bull's eye, pontil mark verso, 41 cm [Born in Salford, Bray moved to Cumbria in 1955. Known as 'The Grand Old Man of British Glass', he was a leading studio-glassmaker and artist, particularly known for his glass bowls featuring Cumbrian landscapes, this plaque being more unusual)
