A fine old historistmus / reproduction late 15th / early 16th Century French enamelled glass goblet, having a hollow inverted baluster stem and a conical bowl enamel decorated with a rebus of three scenes: a gentleman holding flowers beside a scroll reading "IE SVIS A VOVS"; a lady holding a heart surmounted by an orb beside a banner reading "MO CVEVR AVES", and a goat drinking from a narrow-necked vessel, below the legend "IE SUIS A VOVS LEHAN BOVCAV ET ANTOYNETE BOVC", 11 X 13 cm, [Apparently is a copy of a glass held in the Slade collection (British Museum), made in the Goult furnaces, Provence, France.
