COVID-19
Business [not] as usual
I hope this update finds you and yours well and coping with COVID-induced solitude. In the spirit of Government guidelines we have closed our doors to the public until further notice and are sharing your isolation.
As you are aware, prior to Monday’s announcement by the PM we had published our current catalogue online. We’re happy to confirm that this auction will go ahead on Saturday, though it will solely be a web-based auction. While we’ll miss you, sadly we won’t be open to the public. Rather, we’d ask that you stay safe at home and participate via the internet. In addition to real-time bidding via the-saleroom.com, there’s an online auto-bidding facility for those otherwise occupied at the time of the auction, and we’d also be happy to accept commission bids by email.
Most of you have already taken advantage of the convenience of our live internet bidding platform. We are more than happy to provide further images and details of lots coming up for auction, simply follow the “ask a question” link from each auction listing, or email us at enquiries@laidlawauctioneers.co.uk.
Post-sale, we’ll be able to pack and post to you almost all of your purchases, as economically as possible, wherever you are.
If you’ve any queries, don’t hesitate to get in touch. When it’s safe and sensible to do so, we look forward to welcoming you through our doors once again. In the meantime, all of us at Laidlaw Auctioneers and Valuers wish you and yours health and safety.
Good luck at the auction and when you’re at home on the verge of going stir crazy, look forward to your Laidlaw auction purchases arriving at your doorstep to brighten your day.
Paul
